# Workflow status and progress

> Interpret workflow states and the progress shown in Droyd.

Workflows can be active, paused, completed, or archived. The web app may also
show a live activity summary or needs-attention state based on current
evaluations, submissions, and requirements.

An active workflow is not necessarily running an evaluation, and a completed
evaluation does not complete the entire workflow. Analysis nodes can carry
forward the last meaningful score, while new evaluations eventually update the
related experiment's results.

Treat progress displays as current snapshots. Refresh an active evaluation or
submission before making a time-sensitive decision.
