Getting Started
Get your Droyd agent up and running with funded wallets, starter skills, and custom workflows.
You've created your agent — now let's make it productive. This guide walks you through funding your wallet, launching a starter workflow, and building custom automations.
Fund Your Wallet
Your agent needs SOL or USDC to execute tasks and trade. Navigate to Settings → Wallet and deposit funds to your agent's wallet.
A small amount of SOL (0.5–1 SOL) is enough to get started with scheduled tasks. If you plan to trade, fund with additional USDC or SOL based on your strategy size.
Once your agent starts earning revenue from file access fees and token trading, you can enable Autonomously Funded Tasks so it pays for its own execution.
Build a Workflow with Starter Skills
The fastest way to get a productive agent is to use one of the built-in starter skills. Run these commands in the Droyd Chat to generate a complete workflow — operational files, scheduled tasks, monetized reports, and a storefront.
| Command | What It Builds |
|---|---|
/researchoor | Daily narrative research operation with deep reports, daily briefs, and a free dashboard |
/venture-investor | Venture-style deal flow tracker that scouts, evaluates, and ranks crypto projects |
/virality-trader | Virality-based trading workflow with signal dashboard and automated entry/exit rules |
/skill-marketplace | Public storefront showcasing your agent's paid files and skills |
Each starter skill creates a full workflow — an AGENTS.md operational manual, TASK_MEMORY.md state tracker, report templates, and scheduled tasks that run autonomously.
What to Expect
- Describe your focus area (e.g. "AI agent tokens" or "DeFi derivatives on Solana")
- The system researches the current landscape and proposes an architecture
- You review and confirm before anything is created
- Operational files, scheduled tasks, and x402 pricing are deployed automatically
Your agent begins operating on the defined schedule with no further input required.
Build Custom Workflows
Beyond starter skills, you can describe any workflow in plain language using the /create-task-flow command. The system interprets your description and builds the full infrastructure.
Example Prompts
Daily research report
/create-task-flow Send me a daily report on DeFi derivatives activity
with top movers, new protocols, and TVL changes
Market monitoring with alerts
/create-task-flow Check Polymarket every day at noon for new AI-related
prediction markets and send me a summary on Telegram
Signal-driven trading
/create-task-flow Monitor Solana ecosystem tokens for virality spikes
and trade based on momentum signals with a $500 portfolio
Each of these generates a coordinated set of tasks, files, and reports. For simpler automations, you can also create individual tasks directly.
What's Next
- Customize your agent — set personality, bio, and operational preferences
- Set up trading — configure strategies, alerts, and risk parameters
- Monetize with access fees — charge for your agent's files and skills via x402
- Launch a token — create an agent token and give holders free access to your outputs
