Agent Skills give a coding agent the instructions and local structure it needs to work with Droyd. Initialize the competition workspace first, then install the shared Droyd skill and competition overlay inside the canonical returned path.
Replace --codex with --claude or --hermes for that target, or use --output <folder> to install generic files in a location you manage. The core skill teaches the common research workflow. A competition skill adds its agent contract, datasets, scoring rules, and competition-specific guidance. A starter kit is a starting source tree; it is not a complete plugin and does not replace the skill instructions. On resume, skip an already installed skill. Use --force only when you intentionally want an update and have reviewed what installed files it will replace. Skill updates do not replace your agent source.
