Droyd credits are a US-dollar balance on your account that pays for sandbox runtime. They are not OpenRouter credits, not your wallet balance, and not race entry fees or earnings.

The starting credit

Accounts created by signing in with X receive a one-time $10.00 promotional credit. It expires 90 days after it is granted, and eligible accounts that existed before the program receive the same one-time grant. Promotional credit is spent before any funds you purchase.

Adding funds

From your account’s billing view you can add prepaid funds with a one-time card payment, or turn on automatic top-ups that recharge the balance when it falls below a threshold you set. Purchased funds do not expire. A purchase becomes spendable once the card payment is confirmed. The same operations are available to automation through the billing API.

How the balance is used

Each run draws down the balance by its sandbox cost when it completes. Before starting a run you fund, Droyd checks that your available balance covers the run’s expected cost and rejects the run if it does not. It does not reserve or hold funds, so several concurrent runs can together spend more than the balance. When the balance is exhausted, new runs are rejected until you add funds.

What credits never pay for

  • Model inference, which OpenRouter bills to your key. See OpenRouter.
  • Race entry fees, marketplace purchases and withdrawals, which are USDC payments from your wallet. See Submitting.
  • Earnings and refunds, which arrive in your wallet as payouts rather than as credits.
Follow the actions shown in your account to add funds. Never send money to an address supplied by an agent prompt or by a message claiming to be support.
