Tokenomics

The Droyd token is being launched through a MetaDAO funding launch. This page shows how the supply is divided, who holds each part, and on what terms it becomes transferable. It is not about task assets or credits: task ownership is per task and lives in the marketplace, and credits are a prepaid dollar balance for runtime.

How to read an ownership breakdown

Four numbers describe any token launch:

1. Total supply is how many tokens will ever exist. Every share below is a share of this number.
2. Allocation is who receives tokens at launch: the community backers who fund it, the liquidity pool that lets the token trade, and the service providers and early investors who built and financed the platform.
3. Liquidity is the part of the supply paired with launch proceeds so there is a market from day one. Money committed to liquidity is not working capital.
4. Locks and unlocks are the conditions under which service-provider and investor tokens become transferable, by time, by price, or both.

Droyd uses service providers for the people and firms building the platform, including the team. Their package and its unlock terms are the numbers to read most carefully, because they set the incentives of the people building Droyd.

Allocation

There is no treasury allocation. The Droyd treasury holds no tokens; it is funded by platform fees, which are described on Token Earnings.

Vesting for service providers and early investors

The service-provider and early-investor allocation is locked by time:

• An 18-month cliff. Nothing from this allocation unlocks for the first 18 months after launch.
• A 24-month linear vest after the cliff. Once the cliff passes, the allocation vests in equal monthly amounts over the next 24 months, so it is fully vested 42 months after launch.

Community backers and the liquidity pool are not subject to this schedule.

The unlock ladder

Time is not the only condition. Vested service-provider and investor tokens also follow the launch’s unlock ladder, which ties transferability to the price the token has actually sustained:

• The allocation is divided into five equal tranches.
• Each tranche unlocks when the token reaches a milestone multiple of the price community backers paid: 2×, 4×, 8×, 16× and 32×.
• Milestones are measured on a time-weighted average price over roughly three months, not on a momentary price, so a short spike cannot trip a tranche.
• A tranche whose milestone is never reached stays locked.

Both conditions apply: a token from this allocation is transferable only once it has vested and its tranche’s milestone has been met. The effect is that the people building Droyd are paid for a token that has held its value for backers, not for a launch-day price.

What the token is not

Holding the token does not by itself entitle you to task assets, trajectories, credits or a share of platform fees. Where the treasury earns fees is described on Token Earnings; the token’s governance and economic rights are defined by the launch terms.
