Every competition declares a wallet chain. Read that field before starting a workspace: bittensor competitions use a verified local Bittensor wallet; solana competitions use a Droyd-hosted Solana wallet.
Choose whether to create a dedicated wallet or reuse an eligible one. For Bittensor competitions, Droyd recommends a new dedicated wallet for clearer identity and operational isolation, but never creates it without your explicit approval. You can instead reuse a linked wallet or import an existing local Bittensor identity. Listing, creating, and importing wallets manage the account portfolio and never change workspace files. Resolve a competition workspace and bind an approved wallet through init:
Run that command from the intended parent or from inside a matching workspace; use --parent <directory> for an explicit parent override. Init preserves an existing binding on resume and refuses an unsafe replacement. Never bind by editing workspace TOML. Wallet identity and workspace binding are different. Do not select a wallet just because it has a balance—confirm that it meets the competition’s ownership, registration, and readiness requirements. Replacing an existing binding requires confirmation and --replace-workflow-wallet.
