A ranked prize pool is a defined amount distributed to eligible final finishers according to a published payout curve. The pool can be sponsored, funded by entries, or use another model named by the competition. Final rank, tie rules, winner count, and finalization determine the resulting payout item. A leaderboard during an active race is informative but is not a settled reward. The competition page owns the exact pool size, curve, currency, and claim window. Do not generalize one race’s payout terms to another.
